Active's team will provide the right advice & guidance to make sure all the right systems are put in place follwoing the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). Our consultancy team will offer a complete indepth service providing a practical advice for all DDA service.
Actives team: • Planning / Development applications, reports and statements in relation to accessibility and DDA requirements.• Audit of new and existing buildings to identify areas of DDA non-compliance.• Conducts access audits and inspects buildings to identify potential areas of access discrimination.• Reviews documents throughout all phases of design, highlighting compliance issues relating to accessibility.• Advises and assists throughout the construction process to ensure ongoing compliance with international codes and standards together with anti-discrimination legislation.• Issues statements of compliance.• Formulates disability action plans and client management plans.

Actives team:• Conduct inspections and audits, and tailor schedules and reports for new and existing buildings• Customise maintenance manuals and performance measures to meet Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards• Provide AS1851 advice, including adopting the latest industry maintenance standards• Conduct inspections of passive elements, fire penetrations, paths of travel and exits• Provide advice during DLP maintenance• Coordinate fire system interface tests• Prepare baseline data (tactical and compartmentation plans, schedules etc) and fire matrices• Prepare annual essential safety measures reports and fire safety statements
